Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority and Petroleum Commission of Ghana Sign Landmark Cooperation Agreement

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority (LPRA) and the Petroleum Commission of Ghana (PCG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing regulatory effectiveness, and promoting sustainable development within the petroleum sectors of both countries.

The agreement establishes a formal framework for collaboration in key areas, including regulatory governance, institutional capacity building, technical knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, and the sharing of industry best practices. The partnership reflects the commitment of both institutions to fostering stronger regional cooperation and supporting the responsible management of petroleum resources for national development.

Through this strategic collaboration, the LPRA and PCG will work together to facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences in petroleum regulation, policy implementation, sector oversight, and operational excellence. The partnership is also expected to create opportunities for joint learning initiatives, professional development programs, technical assistance, and enhanced cooperation on matters of mutual interest within the oil and gas industry.
